Gold Digger with its dramatic ray of light from the side across the forehead, and the inclusion of symbols, is an arresting piece by Arikwibowo. It is striking for the artist's ability to render atmosphere and mood through the medium of charcoal. It's all about money. Arikwibowo Amril received his BA of Fine Arts (Hons), at UiTM Shah Alam, Selangor (2012). Awards include NAFAS Residency, Galeri Chandan, Yogyakarta, Indonesia (2014), Residency, Morne Art Gallery, Kuala Lumpur (2013). His first solo exhibition Hukum Alam was held at Hom Art Trans in 2018.
