Using the medium of woodblock print and oil on linen, Raduan expressed the monumental power of the forest, reflecting the vigorous growth emanating from within. The natural forms and dense foliage in various green hues spread outwards in delicate motion, while the textured surface is portrayed vividly through a series of lines. The magnificent, dream-like forest interior exudes a sense of spirituality and peace. Raduan Man is one of the few artists with a double Masters: University of Wolverhampton (Painting, 2003) and Camberwell School of Art (Printmaking, 2006). He graduated with a BFA from the Universiti ITM in 2000. His awards include the Juror's Award in the Tanjung Heritage competition in 2002. He had several solos since his first at the NN Gallery called Fresh Markings in 2003. His artworks had been selected for Sotheby's Hong Kong auction sale for few times, and the pieces fetched good prices.
