Vibrant colours, an assortment of semi abstract elements, text, and floating organic forms are spontaneously laid out across the surface of the canvas. A warm hue suffuses the image, complemented by the intriguing, floating shapes at the forefront of the imaginary landscape. Harlen Kurniawan's solo exhibitions include "Enigma & Realitas", organised by Langgeng Art Foundation and Equator Art Projects (2018), "(re)Birth" held at Rumah Seni Embun, Medan in 2011, "Journey" held at ViaVia Cafe, Yogyakarta in 2012 and "Fragmented Mirror" held at Garis Art Space, Yogyakarta in 2015. He has participated in various group shows including Japuik Tabao #2, Bentara Budaya, Bali (2018), Dolanan, Jogja Nasional Museum (2013) and Forest Project, Jogja Nasional Museum, Yogyakarta (2014).
