Many of the paintings of Rohaizad Shaari are influenced by the natural scenery of his hometown in Kedah. In this scene, the artist focuses on the wheels of an old bicycle near a shed, enveloped by a field of grass, situated near an agricultural land. Each blade grass is intricately rendered, reflecting his sophistication in watercolours. Through his works, the artist sought to express the transitions and effects of modernisation experienced by the local community in the rural landscape. Rohaizad Shaari had several solo exhibitions, Gerek (2003), Gelagat (2009) and Pohon Cemara (2011). He graduated in his studies in fine art at UiTM in 1992. He has participated in exhibitions that were held at Balai Seni Kedah, Balai Seni Lukis Negara, Galeri Shah Alam, Galeri Petronas, and Bank Negara.
