A series of different textures were used to create this work depicting a group of fish, surrounded by a white lotus flower and lush leaves, in a lotus pond. The use of monochromatic colours enhances the sleek form of the fish, allowing us to appreciate the freeing movements of the fish's bodies in unison. Fish is also a symbol of fortune and prosperity in Asian culture.
