Le Reve Parfume presents a serene arrangement of fluid forms, reminiscent of a quiet and evocative dreamscape. The soft, pale white forms express subtle movement as they delicately intersect with luminous emerald green hues, creating a sense of rhythm and flow. Together, these elements conjure a poetic and almost ethereal atmosphere, imbuing the composition with a sense of magic and reverie. His lyrical compositions capture the enduring spirit of human history and civilisation. Soh Boon Kiong studied in Paris, France from 1988 to 1993. Through his studies at Beaux – Arts de Paris, France, he embraced the western way of making and looking at paintings. He was invited as Artist in Residence at University of Malaya from 2010 to 2014. His major solo exhibitions include Askeri Gallery, Moscow, Russia (2024), Alliance Française, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (2022), Beirut Art Fair, Lebanon (2018), Institut Français de Maurice, Mauritius (2017), and Formosa Art Show, Taipei, Taiwan (2015). Since his first solo exhibition in 1990 at Empress Place Museum in Singapore, Soh has held numerous solo exhibitions in galleries, museums, and art fairs from Malaysia to New Zealand, Japan, Italy, Taiwan, Mauritius, Indonesia, Lebanon, Russia.
