A potpourri of Sarawakian culture and motifs encompassing various ethnic groups like the Iban, Bidayuh, Orang Ulu and Melanau, complete with the kelireng burial poles and body tattoo which once symbolized valour and rank. Also in the repertoire are the sape (lute) popular among the Kayan and the Kenyah, and the gamelan. Tribes like the Penan still use the blowpipe for hunting in the jungle. He was once represented by the now defunct Anugerah Gallery.
Henry Butcher March 2021 edition saw his watercolour artwork (Perempuan Berkemban, 1999) sold for RM10,080, four times of its starting bid at RM2,500.
