Sometimes all you wanted to do is just to sit by the seaside and watch the day passed by slowly and get lost in your own thoughts. The view is breathtakingly calming, as some boats are seen parked scattered in the scene while some come and go to desired destination. Yusoff Abdullah belonged to the Angkatan SePelukis Malaysia generation of Dato’ Hoessein Enas, known for portraitures, landscape and historical events, executed in batik, oil and watercolour. He was the first Malaysian to exhibit in the former Soviet Socialist Republic in 1978, displaying his batik works at the Oriental Art Museum in Moscow. He was also a freelancer photographer and once even set up an art gallery called Gallery 12 in a joint venture in Kota Bharu.
