The lyrical line, Asam Di Darat is drawn from a Malay Proverb revolving around the notion of fate. The idea is that if a relationship is meant to be, the couple shall unite again. Fakhriq Zulkifli is known for his refreshing take on landscape and still life, as he engages with traditional themes in his own unique language.
