Where The Air Turns Red explores the heavy burden of carrying everything in silence.
Against a stark dark background, a woman lies in profile, draped in a heavy red pashmina shroud. Marking a striking evolution from the fragile, pristine white fabrics of earlier work, the tearing silence of the past gives way to a suffocating reality. The shroud has turned crimson a visceral wall of warning flags where private endurance can no longer be contained, transforming into an urgent cry for help that demands to be seen. Yet, the fabric is a complex paradox. Beneath its quiet suffocation breaks an untamed willpower, blooming from the dark against all odds. It is the self that cannot be buried: an urge to be seen and heard.
It stands as a tribute to those who suffer in secret, proving that resilience will always find a way to break through the facade.
