There are strange creatures undersea in all shapes, forms, sizes and colours that are still beyond the ken of man despite all the phenomenal strides in science and technology. This work, Homing Instinct, best illustrates the point of the mysterious lifeforms lurking in the subterranean depths. The work hails from artist-sculptor Ch’ng Huck Theng’s Dancing Water Series and was exhibited at the Luxury China fair in Beijing, China, in 2013. Life derives from the myriad cells, while water forms the main basis of life.
